A fun and easy way to create festive Halloween-inspired pasta using food dye and sautéed mushrooms. Perfect for making mealtimes more exciting during the spooky season!

What you need

pepper

pasta

garlic

tbsp butter

bunch fresh basil

tsp salt

mushroom

oz chili paste
food dye

oz parmesan cheese
Instructions
1: Cook the pasta according to package directions. 2: In a large sauté pan, melt butter and add mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and set aside. 3: Use naturally colored food dye in separate containers. The amount of dye used will determine the brightness of the colors. 4: Divide the cooked pasta into the containers with food coloring. Toss to coat and let sit for at least 10 minutes. 5: Rinse the colored pasta under cold water and mix them together. Set aside. 6: Melt additional butter in the pan with mushrooms. Once the butter begins to brown, add Calabrian Chili paste and garlic. Cook for a few minutes. 7: Add a few ladles of reserved pasta water to create an emulsified sauce. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat. 8: Garnish with fresh basil and grated parmesan cheese.View original recipe
