What you need

tbsp soy sauce

tbsp honey

salt

tbsp mirin

tbsp fresh ginger
tbsp oil

tbsp water

tbsp corn starch

extra firm tofu

tbsp gochujang

tbsp rice wine vinegar
Instructions
1: Drain the water from the extra firm tofu, wrap it in towels, and place something heavy on top to remove excess moisture. 2: Slice the tofu into 12 thin pieces and coat them with corn starch. 3: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and sprinkle the tofu slices with salt before adding them to the pan. 4: Fry the tofu in batches, flipping to cook both sides until lightly browned and crispy. 5: For the sauce, whisk together soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, mirin, toasted sesame oil, gochujang, honey, and water in a bowl and set aside. 6: In the same pan, heat additional oil and sauté sliced scallions, minced garlic, and ginger for about a minute. 7: Add the sauce to the pan, followed by the fried tofu, and cook until the sauce thickens and coats the tofu nicely.View original recipe
