Dal Fry

A simple dal fry made with urad, toor, moong, and masoor dals, pressure cooked and mixed with spices, onions, garlic/ginger, and tomatoes, finished with a tadka of ghee, chilies, and fresh ginger slivers. Topped off with lots of fresh coriander and a handful of frozen spinach for added nutrition.

1: Pressure cook the urad, toor, moong, and masoor dals. 2: In a pan, prepare masala with spices, onions, garlic, ginger, and tomatoes. 3: Add the cooked dals into the masala and mix well. 4: Finish with a tadka of ghee, chilies, and fresh ginger slivers. 5: Stir in a handful of frozen spinach for extra nutrition. 6: Serve hot with plain boiled rice and hard-boiled eggs.View original recipe
