What you need

cup flour

lemon juice

cup old fashioned oats

tbsp corn starch

tbsp sugar

tsp ground cinnamon

tsp kosher salt

tsp cardamom

Instructions
1: Preheat your tandoor for at least 30 minutes to an internal temperature around 400°F. 2: Prepare a cast iron plate or dish, coating it with a little bit of butter. 3: Peel and slice the apples a little less than 1/4” thick. 4: Toss the sliced apples in a large bowl with sugar, lemon juice, kosher salt, ground cinnamon, cardamom, ground cloves, nutmeg/mace, and ginger if desired. Stir in corn starch and set aside. 5: For the topping, add brown sugar or powdered jaggery, old fashioned oats, flour, and kosher salt into a food processor.
