1: Make homemade pie crust using butter and shortening. 2: Roll the crust to about 1/6th inch and cut into 3.5” circles. 3: Add 1.5 tablespoons of homemade jam or filling to the center of each circle. 4: Fold the circles and crimp the edges with a fork. 5: Blend 1 egg with about a tablespoon of milk and brush this onto the dough. 6: Sprinkle the crust with large sugar crystals. 7: Preheat the Foodi Smart XL Grill to 375°F on the BAKE function. 8: Place the pies in the air crisp basket without adding oil. 9: Set the timer for 8 to 10 minutes and cook.
