A kid-approved, easy recipe for Sage and Pumpkin Alfredo that's perfect for Halloween week. This creamy pasta dish combines farfalle pasta with a pumpkin puree sauce, garlic, sage, and parmesan cheese to create a comforting meal.

1: Cook Farfalle pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup of the cooking liquid to thin out sauce as necessary. 2: Heat butter over medium heat until it begins to brown. Toss in half of the fresh sage leaves and garlic, sauteing until soft and fragrant. 3: Add the pumpkin, heavy cream and ground nutmeg. Simmer until slightly thickened. 4: Mix in the parmesan and stir to combine. Once the cheese blends into the sauce, add the pasta to the pan. 5: Thin the sauce with the reserved pasta water as needed. 6: Top with additional parmesan and season to taste. 7: Serve immediately with reserved sage leaves for garnish.
